Bernard was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, grew up in Rwanda and lives in a refugee camp in Zimbabwe. He believes the many struggles he has faced in his life have shaped his view of the world, and have ignited his passion for a drive for change. That is why he founded Global Change for Development, an organization that supports the youth and people in vulnerable social conditions, especially in the Tongogara refugee camp, Zimbabwe.
