Ishaan Shah, UK

Through my anti-slavery organisation
Stolen Dreams UK, I engage with government ministers and delegations, civil society, educational institutions, and youth internationally. I am also a UN Women UK Youth Delegate and UN Women National Gender Youth Activist. I speak at high-level dialogues and forums including at the British Parliament and United Nations. Since 2016 I have delved into the anti-slavery movement, always recognising intersectionalities. This revolves around raising awareness and mobilising stakeholders to take comprehensive, concrete actions against contemporary forms of exploitation, some of which are ingrained in our food systems.
