Susil is an innovative agricultural researcher and practitioner with a deep commitment to enhancing food security and sustainability through real food systems. His academic journey, marked by a masters in Agriculture Economics at Agriculture and Forestry University, Chitwan, has equipped him with a strong foundation in agricultural sciences and project management.

Throughout his career, Susil has been involved in various impactful projects, such as the Agro COVID initiative, which supported underprivileged communities by integrating them into climate-resilient agricultural practices during the pandemic. His work on the Bambana Box project, an innovative alternative to plastic crates, exemplifies his dedication to reducing environmental impact while improving the shelf life of agricultural products.

His research efforts, including the analysis of income inequality’s impact on food security in Ichhyakamana Rural Municipality and investment analysis of the ginger enterprise in Doti, Nepal, reflect Susil’s commitment to addressing food security challenges at both local and broader levels. As a Country Ambassador for Real Food Systems and a recipient of multiple awards, Susil continues to drive forward initiatives that promote sustainable agriculture and resilient food systems.
