I am involved in several action-oriented projects including: #FoodJusticeFriday, a reflection campaign to reflect on your role in the food system, and to use a critical race theory to understand food systems inequalities; #FoodIsneverjustfood, a workshop for food systems professionals to understand food justice and for BIPOC to become good justice champions; #DominicanFoodStudies, to teach Dominican ethnobotany and agrarian knowledge; and #CampoAlante, teaching Dominican people Agrarian skills, horticulture and traditional ecological knowledge.
