Food Security Outreach & Youth Ambassador

Country: Lebanon

Rayan is a youth leader working on food systems and youth advocacy. He has supported the youth food space through his roles at the UN Regional Youth Focal Point for the Middle East and North Africa in support of the UN Food Systems Summit, a core member of the Act4Food youth campaign, and the thematic facilitator on nature and food security on the UNEP MGCY steering committee. He works at the World Benchmarking Alliance, helping hold multinational food and agriculture companies accountable to the food systems transformation agenda. Rayan also works with UNICEF Lebanon creating a youth climate movement by supporting youth-led initiatives building capacity and coordinating action.
